Stunt Wheel

Walt: make a stunt wheel.

We made this stunt wheel because my class was learning about toys for our topic this term. We got the idea from a New Zealand School Journal. First we had to get a cardboard, a pair of scissors, compass and a ruler. Then I had to follow the  instructions. After I finished making the stunt wheel I had to decorate my stunt wheel to make it look cool. When I was finished the stunt wheel I took it outside to try it out. It went really fast. I think it when approximately 20 to 30 metres. The mechanism for the this toy was the wind because thats how it rolls and jumps over obstacles. If the wind was stronger today I think it would go faster and would fly over obstacles easily.

My Learning

This equation was on exponents. I had to figure out the answer on a limited of time and the answer was 36. The strategy that I used for this was 6x6 because it had the exponent  2 . That’s how I got 36 for my answer.

All About Me In 2013

In 2013 I want to work better on eduss plus I want to draw better than last year and  improve my e-astle results in maths.

This year is going to be exciting because we are going to have interschool sports like swimming,softball and much more. But most exciting thing is that we are going to have sports camp. I cannot wait.

This year is going to be challenging because we are going  to have a speech competition that is coming up soon and we are doing Glen Innes Schools got talent that is also coming up soon.

What I am looking forward to in 2013 is taking my netbook
home in the holidays and making a film for the Manaiakalani festival for 2013.
