Cross country poem

Walt: Write a rap/poem

Cross Country.

Run Run I’m gasping for air.

I sweat but run to the finish line.

My time is almost 8.5.

I’m on my last lap.

I'm almost there.

I trip and graze myself.

I shiver with fear.

The marshal comes and picks me up.

I get back up and say.

I’m not giving up.

I begin to run again.

Adrenaline kicks in.

I sprint to the finish line.

I won I won.

The marshal says to me.

It was a photo finish.

Rap/poem

I'm the youngest in my team
because I play for Miami Heat
I'm nervous but proud because
everybody shouts and cheers
Then the hooter goes off
I shiver with fear.


I'm on the starting five
Then I run on to the court
two go for the jump throw
And then we are off
we get the ball I'm happy in my head
Then they pass me the ball
My eyes turn bright red

I dodge one person with my under leg
I'm unstoppable everyone thinks
Then I think to myself I'm the basketball king.
I make it to the hoop and shoot a three pointer
The buzzer goes off
It's the final quarter.

Were down by two and there's 10 seconds left.
They give the ball
I head straight to the net.
I jump in the air and do a slam dunk
I stay there for a while and then I jump off.

The people go wild they want to see it again.
But  it's the end off the game.

Walt : Make a poem

Never give up.

Everyone try your best.

Try and get the ball and shoot it in.

Bring it in the centre and start again then.

Attack the ball and win again.

Losing is really hard to take. But

Love to have fun.
