Pyramids

Walt : write an information report.

The pyramids were built in ancient Egypt because the Egyptians believed in after life they thought that if they made the pyramids the dead would roam around . The Egyptians would go and see them and put their favourite things next to their tomb so they would remember when they come back and it was the pharaohs last resting place.

The pharaohs was preserved by firstly washing the dead body. Next the embalmers took the body’s insides out. After that the embalmers put salt around the body to dry it out. Then the embalmers stuffed the body with saw dust or rags and sweet smelling herbs. Finally the embalmers rubbed the body with oil and wrapped the body in cloth then they finally put the body into the tomb and then into the pyramid.

The pyramid of Giza took 20 to 30 years to build . It was 450 feet high and 756 feet long. It took 100,000 slaves to make it. The ancient Egyptians built their pyramids on the west bank of the river Nile. This was because the Egyptians linked the west with death, as this was where the sun set. The site had to be far enough away from the river to avoid flooding, but close to the materials so it could be transported to it.

Basic Facts

The Walt for this game was to balance fractions. In this game you had to drag the fractions and try and balance them. This game was easy because it would tell you if you're wrong or if you are right but it  was a little bit hard as well because you had to try and make both sides even. What I want to learn next is to work more with coordinates.

Rugby League

Walt: Use our emotions to describe playing sport.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to my league training every time I go to my training I feel motivated and enjoy what we do in our training. Sometimes in my training I get tired and get fatigue because of all of the fitness that we do in training. But it is good because unless i’m getting fit. Sometimes I get injured but all I do is shake it off and keep on going. After training my limbs and muscles and legs have had it because of all of the running I've been doing. But when I get home I stretch until they are stretch out.

   

Wylie: The Eagle

One day a majestic eagle called Wylie was waiting for the sandstorm to stop in parched desert in Egypt when the sandstorm he waited until the last of the fierce winds of the sandstorm to die down. A few minutes later it was time for hunting. He thought about what he was going to have to eat. A fish from the Nile river perhaps a plump juicy lizard or a slithering snake or even a furry fennec fox.

They all sounded tasty to him. First he went and tried to catch the plump juicy lizard but he did not catch it because it was too quick. Then he flew up on the pyramid thinking unable to come up with a situation. Then he flew off. his next catch was a fish from the Nile river. The eagle caught a fish and ate it and it was delicious. when he was finished he went for more.

The best time is when you are bored you can go play outside or do your homework or help out your mum and your dad with chores.

The most important person is my teacher because if we didn’t have a teacher we wouldn't of learned anything .

3.What is the right thing to do.

The right thing to do is to help my friend when they cry when they fall down on the asphalt.   

Thoth

Thoth is an ancient Egyptian Myth. The characters in the story shu (shoe) the son of the sun God. Ra (rah) the God of the sun Nut(newt), Geb(gebb). The story was set in ancient Egypt. The problem was that Shu was jealous because Nut fell in love with Geb. So Shu keeped the lovers apart by turning nut into the sky and Geb into the earth. Then he cursed Geb with barrenness. Proclaiming that there were no months of the year that she could give birth. Then Thoth made five extra days so  gebb could have her babies. Geb had a daughter and and a son their names were Isis and Osiris.

Inequalities with decimals

This week our walt was to convert decimals to %ages and vice versa. But the game that I played was about inequalities with decimals. you had to drag the crocodile mouth to the highest decimal number. Nothing was hard on this game so I think my teacher should give me a more challenging game. What I would like to learn next is to learn more about ratio.My answer was 0.45

My island of paradise

Walt: write a creative story in paragraphs

My island of paradise would be similar to the Cook islands. On it I will have a candy bar stores so all the kids in my family can enjoy it. I would have a big disco room for our family to dance in. And give the parents and the kids a money tree each. I would have all the theme parks in the world like Rainbows end, white Water world, Dream world and much more.

I would have a stadium that would hold all the concerts and league, rugby, soccer, football and basketball games. I would have a arcade room that has the latest ps4 and the latest arcade machines. And I would have a massive man made pool that has heaps of diving boards that you can dive off from. I would enjoy having a theater room too.I would have a skate rink that would have Tony hawk, Rodney mullen, Bam margera, and much more.

I would like to enjoy this island with my family and friends. If this was a reality it will be amazing.
